Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

RHD - "One to One" - The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti was intended to marry understated styling and spectacular performance to a new level. Named in honour of Sergio Scaglietti, Ferrari's seminal coach builder of the 1950's and the "Maestro of Aluminium", the 612 features several styling homages to the coachbuilder's work such as the scalloped sides that are a reference to the 375 MM made especially for Ingrid Bergman. The car's performance figures were equally impressive, the car is easily capable of 195 MPH and travels to 60 mph in less than 4.3 seconds while at the same time providing a practical 2+2 alternative to the 575 MM with which it shared its V12 engine. The 612 was a marked improvement on its extremely popular predecessor the 456M GT. The 612 is 60kg lighter yet 60% more structurally rigid meaning that the 612 is a far better handling car than the 456. The 612 also offers comfortable room for four adults with 139mm more legroom than in the 456. In the boot the car has room for two sets of golf clubs or a five-piece Ferrari luggage set while the luggage capacity of 240 litres (45% more than the 456) is certainly class leading. Ferrari later released the 612 Scaglietti "One to One" model, dedicated to allow the customer to personalise the vehicle to "Create something special for yourself". Each car featured a unique specification different from the next. However, as standard the OTO model featured Carbon Ceramic brakes, an Electrochromic Panoramic roof, a SuperFast gearbox, and Manettino as standard. This example was UK supplied to its first owner in November 2008 via HR Owen. Presented in the most stunning colour combination of Grigio Silverstone over a Nero Hide interior with Grigio stitching throughout. Mr G Deru, the cars first owner, was clearly a man of good taste and suitably specified a host of option extras including Daytona seats, Scuderia Winghsields, front and rear parking sensors, a Giallo rev counter, Satellite navigation and the HGT2 handling package that included 20" wheels, uprated suspension and a sports exhaust. Today this exceptional 612 has covered under 15,600 Miles from new and is accompanied by a very complete service history all of which has been completed by main dealers or well respected independent specialists. Most recently in October 2017 it has received a comprehensive major service including cambelts carried out by DK Engineering. Presented with its original book pack, spare key, tools and tyre pump this 612 is UK registered and ready to be used and enjoyed immediately, located for viewing by appointment at our showrooms just outside London.
