Diesel dump valves

Are these just the same as petrol ones ie can i just buy any and fit it or do you have to buy a proper diesel on

no you need to buy a diesel one along with a fitting kit. expect to pay a nice amount as well

Not sure how they work as diesel engines dont normally have a throttle body.
and there is NO performance gain from these only noise

I can't see any performance benefits on a diesel DV. If anyone knows differently I'm all ears.

What about those electric dump valves? A speaker and a throttle contact. You get the sound without the effort!

where can you get them from, its just im going to have a bit of work done to the engine and a remap to get it to approx 160-170bhp so thought a dump valve sound wouldnt sound out of place lol
