Corsa Turbo Conversion

Im getting a nova 2Ltr red top turbo in a few days and it had a astra GSi turbo charger in it i think that thems the best for the engines. i dont know how much work is involved but i would say try a garage who specialise in engine mods.

Is there a turbo I can add to my GSI or will an sri 130 or Calibra turbo engine fit into the engine bay. How much work am I getting into - I have put an SRI 130 into a Nova so considermyself reasonable confident.

Calibra Turbo should fit - the Astra Turbo would be easier though. You'll probablky have to move battery etc to the boot.

Beware of your insurance company too. They like engineers reports on conversions like this. We have had 3 Corsa/Nova turbos in the past month asking for engineers reports for their insurance!
