I have built a 383 with aluminum heads, huydraulic roller, pertronix HEI, and Edelbrock quad. The usual chevy small block numbers don't work. Does anybody have any suggestions for initial timing and curve or carburetor set up?

i dont know what the settings are for a chevy motor
the carb i would set up like i did my rochester wind the screws all the way in the each one out 5 turns then go from there onces it running

that side i dont know
i striped and rebuilt my rochester 4bbl but everything was there to start with and just did everything up tight

mind i did get the 2nd needles in wrong and it over fueled so much that i had 4foot flames out of the carb and 2 foot flames from the exhaust was fun but burnt holes in my cover lol
