I have spent so long looking for the perfect all rounder with no depreciation and eventually came to the conclusion that the Primera GT was the ultimate buy, fantastic after lots of research and forum questions blah blah blah.........
Then a friend has decided to upgrade his car and is letting me have his at a bargain price, so different from the Primera, it's a BMW 525 tds (e34), which has been re mapped on the roller to just under 170 bhp by paramount performance, New Blistein uprated springs and dampers. and it is a manual rwd, so I guess i won't be a regular on the primera forum but here with the oil burners. Hi all.
To be honest i had one of the e39 diesels a few years back and found it too sterile and boring, but that cost a lot and depreciated as much, cheap cars make me grin just because they are cheap and normally are more able than expensive ones. dents are good!

TBH mate I'd have gone for the Primera. But it's your decision at the endof the day so good luck with the new motor mate.

that little extra mpg means a lot to me over a year that is the primera

I would have gon with the premera as well or the almera gti

well if something goes wrong with the BM deal it will be the Primera Gt, But to be honest the Bm will pay it's keep
