hi peeps, as you know by my hello post i have an xr4x4. 2.9efi h reg.
I've found a 24valve cossie lump and looooooom, but i could do with yr advice on whether it would fit on the gearbox and if my sump would fit on the cossie lump, due to the hole that the drive shaft has to go through????? im gonna poly the bushes and engine mounts etc but do i need to make any adjustments to anything on the car or in the engine bay???? would really help, if u guys can give me as much advice as poss lol. ty x x x

Hi Hows the project going?

You could convert to a dry sump if sump overhang is a problem. The gearbox you ideally need would be the MTX but this would require a bit of grinding. Really not sure if the XR box would be strong enough or fit properly. Sierra to Sierra is fairly straight forward to do.
