Blown Transmission

I was woundering if it would be smart of me to go with a racing transmission, due to that it can handle a 750 hp engine. Right now I have a standard engine. I do have plans in the future to go with a high performance engine. Right now I am doing recearch on trying to get 650awhp out of my engine on pump gas....lol. But, my question is: should I go with a OEM transmission or go ahead and get the high performance transmission?
 
GO for the performance transmission. Don't forget a power/heavy duty clutch/stronger drive shafts etc. Low ratio boxes can make a big difference if you choose the ratio's carefully. Many racing transmissions are just too low for road use so be careful. You'll be changing up from frst at 20-30 and top gear will not be economical. I recommend having a close 1,2 & 3 a standard 4 and slightly higher 5th. You never get to 5th on a track so IMHO you should try for the max economy when cruising to shows & events!!!
