Hi. Anyone out there with a 3 door Astra SRI Diesel 1.9 whose lowered it? Just wanting to fit lower springs to get rid of that 'arches' gap. Not bothered about performance, just want it to look better. Cheers

hey and welcome
depends on how low you want to go, not bothered about the performance then cut the springs - seriously dont follow that advise
you can drop on standard dampners using lowering springs but this will cause quicker wear in most cases this is your cheapest option. generally dont go lower than 35mm
full dampener and spring kit will lower the car using matched parts
or coilovers, seeing as your not looking at performance them cheap coilovers will allow you to set the hight to what you want
