Another screw in my tyre

I can't believe I've got another screw in my tyre. It is the 3rd one this month! Thankfully they have all been repairable.

Is there someone out there dropping screws on the road.

Why is it always the rear tyres that pick up punctures? The fronts generally seem to avoid it.

I don't think the roads are cleaned often enough. There always used to be a fleet of sweepers doing the rounds and you hardly see them nowadays.

It's hurried housebuilding which causes this kind of detritus to be left.
