Another newbie from NZ just got his GTO

just brought a 1990 non turbo gto after many years, was wondering what would be a good place to start for basic mods etc

and would any body have a pdf file of the owners manual by anychance? cant find one anywhere at the moment

Hi and welcome. Is it an auto or manual ? To be honest upgrading the N/A is expensive. The cheapest upgrade is swapping it for a T.T.
Of course things can be done but because the majority of development has been to the twin turbo'd engines, that's where the parts are easier to obtain.
Ultimately it depends on your target in terms of bhp. If you are after real power, it will cost more than the motor is worth. If you are just after freeing up a small amount, there are basic upgrades available.
