Adding a turbo

I was thinking of adding a turbo from a vauxhall corsa (2000) to an 1985 Nissan cherry.
It was originally 60bhp but me thinks is left 50 horse's in the stable.
Any advice greatly appreciated

You will need understand that you can't just add a turbo to a NA engine and all will be well.

The fuel and air intake of the Cherry will definitely need uprating and the head bolts are likely to give way under boost.

The other problem you'll have is the high compression ratio of the cherry, you'll need to drop this or run low boost to compensate.
