A race between tiny cars settles an internet argument

The cars in question? The Chevrolet Sonic RS Turbo (138 HP 1.4L Turbo) and the Hyundai Accent (138 HP 1.6L). It started with a journalist making jokes about the Sonic being a crappy Korean econobox that needs to be destroyed. The argument took to Twitter and ended up with 2 small cars at a racetrack as Chevy prepared to back up it's claims head on.

I love this kind of rivalry. It's kind of a "Actions speak louder than words" kinda thing.

I found it interesting to see two different cars with the same power on a track. I think a lot was down to the tyres but it does go to show that some cars are more suited to certain driving styles.
