:? I am confused. The cam gear has two punch marks and a "v" mark. Does anyone know what is up and which one is used when replacing a broken timing belt? Thanks in advance

Hi Waynne. I may have this figured out, it has entailed that I took apart more of the engine than I had aticipated. I removed the rocker cover and turned the cam shaft to find out when the intake valve closed. The biggest problem is I hope I have not damaged the engine as it is possibly the valves could hit the pistons. Will keep you posted on my progress. Thanks James
That makes sense to me. Good luck with it. Dont forget to get a new tensioner and cambelt - I always replace both its just not worth the risk. :wink: Keep us posted.
