I am new on this site and I own a 2003 Jetta TDI with a few upgrades to the motor and transmission.
I am planning on selling this car and looking to purchase a low mileage LHD MK4 Bora TDI manual in Europe for export. (1999 to 2005 model years)
I have did some research and it looks like my best bet is to look in Germany and the Netherlands as it is cheaper to ship a car out of Rotterdam being in closer proximity to these countries.
I would prefer to purchase out of Italy or Spain as the weather conditions are more favorable to keeping their cars in better shape in the long run.
I am having communication problems in Italy and Spain as I do not hear back from them after sending them my inquiries.
My inquiries were also translated to their language by myself with the help of an online translator.
The other issue is finding a reliable 3rd party inspector to inspect these vehicles.
Any input and advise would be very helpful.
