Thanks dude. No rubbing at the moment, thinking of going 35mm lower end November, i have been advised if i use the right kit (koni, H&R or Eibach) they shouldn't be any issues. I have Nankang Ns2 Sport, they 215/35/18.

We've had 3 versions of the Polo in South Africa, think first version was launch 1997 - 1998 (stand to be corrected here), it was the 6n version, Polo Playa and Polo Classic. Came in 1.4i, 1.6i and 1.8i. 62, 74 and 82kw respectively. I had the playa 1.6i, lovely car. Then we got the 9n in 2003...

dave, go 17", here in SA, 90% of the guys fit 17". looks awesome, also the corsa comes standard with a drop and there's no rubbing issues. 17" FTW.

GTi = 1.6fsi, dude, that aint cool. The G5 Gti is quite common here and bloody expensive, the polo is the cheaper alternative. Planning on doing software end nov, apparently adds abt 30kw on the fly. I have a set of 18" wheels on at the moment, not really a mod, i know

Thanks dude. Well the polo gti (sa version) is standard with a 1.8t motor (110kw). I'm planning on doing the remap, it apparently adds up to 30kw on the fly...i'll let u know once i did it;)
