Thanks. If I buy new pistons for the turbo model instead of the n/a is that ok and then just fit the turbo. Or do I need to go looking into compression ratios?

Hi all I’m new here. just looking for some advice from someone that might have done it before. move got a 2008 forester n/a that I have the engine out of due to it blowing up. mim wondering if I can fit new low compression pistons and fit a turbo? If not how can I lower compression for turbo.
