I'd keep it a Nissan (RB). That's my preference. Damn this bump is old

crashndied and Waynne sole the woods right out of my mouth. Also, if you have any aftermarket gauges or custom wiring (stereo) you should investigate that as well.

    Hello, which car to choose??

So are you advocating the Datsun despite the cost, or the A3? I was a tad lost. I've driven and owned an '88 300zx turbo and a '72 Datsun (very briefly). I have not driven the A3. A good portion of the reason I considered an A3 is due to an understanding that they are relatively easy to tune...

    Top 10 car tuning mods

That depends on your goals of course (quick, acceleration and handling or power, dyno, and top speed). I think intake and exhaust are universally important if you want gains. Similar to a vehicle, it won't matter how strong someone is if they cannot breathe.

    Intake & Air Box design

This thread has gotten a bit technical for me, but I'd say protect it from the heat of the engine bay creating a box, using rubber seals (or something along those lines) form it so it will seal when the hood is closed, and finally, cut the form of the box from the hood, baking it with some sort...

Do you have discharge/residue on your battery, or are you losing your entire electrical charge?

    Hi, please help me

Yet its the turbine on the header/exhaust side that drives the turbine on the intake side to compress the supply of new air into the motor, correct? Thus, the velocity of the exhaust gasses combined with the smaller diameter headers (that are usually sought after for this purpose) create more...

    Hello, which car to choose??

I've also considered an Audi A3 due to their rather easy tuning capabilities. But I will say I am attracted to the Datsun and Nissan for sentimental reasons, as well as the THOUGHT that the start up price for the cars will be much lower. Lastly, it'd be the first car I had the opportunity to be...

    '83-'89 300zx

This is the red-headed step child of Nissan's Z series, but that doesn't mean I don't love it. I have an '88 300zx Turbo, digital dash, automatic. I have an aftermarket cone air filter, that if you've ever seen where the air filter is on this model, takes up the entire area where the old box air...

    300zx help!!!!

It may be easier to pull a turbo engine from another car. I am quite sure Nissan's 3.0 L VG30ET V6 from their 80's 300zx (z31) Turbos would fit. I've seen your model z32 (twin turbo though) just barely stuffed into a z31 with little modifications. So I have a feeling it will fit in your z32. I...

    Hello, which car to choose??

That's what I was leaning towards. I'm just afraid the addiction to always wanting to keep working will make me lose sight of the classic, elegant Z car and start adding racing seats, aftermarket gauges, 4 point harnesses, engine swap (rb25dett). Things like an electric fuel pump, HIDs and what...

    Hi, please help me

Old-git is right. I've owned a '72 Datsun 240z and an '88 Nissan 300zx Turbo. Although I kept the Datsun exhaust stock, I did modify the turbo. With turbo cars you want pressure upstream, or pre-turbine. I admit to sometimes mixing up the two. I found a link backing my statement, but... I don't...

    Hi, please help me

Old-git, I've owned a '72 Datsun and an '88 Nissan 300ZX Turbo. While I kept the stock exhaust on the Datsun, I modified the exhaust on the 300ZX. From what I've come to understand, albeit i can be COMPLETELY wrong, back pressure is important and plays a role concerning turbo charged cars...

    Hello, which car to choose??

Hello everyone It's a new year filled with new hope. About me.... I'm 19 and going into the United States Air Force. Without getting into too much detail, over the years I've worked on a '88 Nissan 300ZX Turbo (which my father "reclaimed" once it was in working order and his car fell apart...

    Hi, please help me

Hello Ash, welcome to Torque Cars. Firstly, your car is an extension of yourself, so don't let others influence you too much. You are the one that has to live with it, so you should be the one who is ultimately happy with it. Now to answer your question, I would say you can get an aftermarket...
