i'd really like to stick with a V engine. atm i average about 21-25mpg but thats due to a fair amount of town driving, and maybe a heavy foot. on the motor way i get around 35mpg.

sadly the most expensive car i've driven was my g/f's honda hrv, or perhaps a new corsa courtesy car. Either ways it's not to good. Thinking of selling my vr6 and going for a v6 4motion but don't know much about them. I'd prefer to get an R32 but that ain't going to happen for a while yet.

Now that looks like fun. I'd be happy to rip round that in pretty much any car.

If theres no insurance what happens if someone else hits you and doesn't have any money to pay? do you have to ake them to court?

Sounds like a few of you should maybe buy real sat nav's instead of make do pda software. I got a garmin and it's great except for the charger part likes to jump out of the ciggy holder. Also I think your supposed to update them, that way you should have the new roads and speed cameras...

Thanks for the answer. Can I assume that you wouldn't fit them if your not running a turbo or do ppl just use them for the sound? I think I'm more interested in the engine noise than the dump valve. Although I'm curious about them as I've heard them mentioned a few times.

Good stuff! I made the mistake of not getting any no claims on my first year. Although I did write the car off so I don't think It mattered :P
