the springs are 7 years old, im gonna try some 215 35 18 tyres before i make a decision about springs or coilovers. i fitted the induction kit yesterday and what a difference, get to 4000 rpm and the noise is incredible. loving it lol.

the suspension is stock, i think where i went wrong is the tyre choice i put 225-40-18s on but origionally they were 225-35-18s which, when , fitted i could get in and sleep in the arches( i bought the wheels second hand so i never had the chance to see what the 35s were like as they had...

well thanks for all the info and advice guys :), just another quick question, does anyone know what the maximum size wheel i could put on?, i roll on 18s at the moment with 225- 40- 18 tyres but they rub when i hit bumps and when i have got people in the back, and its bloody annoying lol.

hey thanks for that my engine code is F18B2E4O7193. I reluctantly purchased a universal cold air induction kit yesterday but am still not sure if i will fit it yet. I have got some pics but havn't worked out how to post them yet.

that explains a lot as to why i have very little power under 3000 rpm but when you get to around 4500 rpm it suddenly comes to life.

if i make one, could i lose any hp? im not really bothered about hp but what i hope to improve is the low end torque ie my car has no pulling power say when i go over a speed hump in second i usually have to drop inti first to get the car going again.

i own a 2002 accord 1.8i vtec and want to fit an induction kit but cant seem to find one. all the kits i have seen are for the 2.0i upwards. and dont fancy fitting a universal one as ive heard these wont make any difference and i would have to heavily mod it to fit, can anyone help me...
