Why run the car flat out?
Why video it?
Why post it to youtube?

Is it just me that doesn't see the point? After all anyone can crank a car up to it's max speed in a straight line, few will be able to deal with a blow out, bump or sudden emergency.

It would also be a little harder to deal with an emergency when you are holding a video camera:eek:

Another question is why would anyone watch this :amuse:

unless you have a car with lots of power then going in top speed like that isnt very exciting and recoridng it while driving at that speed is plain stupidity

My girlfriend filmed some high-speed runs from the passenger seat of the W8 earlier in the year when we went to Koln. Never got around to posting them. Pretty sure they're still on the video camera.

I understand it's all a bit pointless, but I couldn't help but want to get a 'sensible family saloon' roaring straight past 160mph without caring, on film.
