Do you actually know what your cars torque is? Do you have to look it up?

Why do people focus more on BHP than Torque when torque is a more accurate reflection of the cars pulling power!

Unless you were born or blessed with such information then I guess I am one of the unfortunate ones who had to look it up and again to find out what it became when last measured....................however unless I look it up again I don't recall what it was!

You can tell someone recently bought a diesel

Indeed :D

 ;)
I can't keep banging on about MPG can I and lets face it acceleration and refinement are no longer in the conversational ball park!

I to am enjoying the mpg I'm getting atm average 45 normal driving I haven't done a long run yet
I do know my torque figure only cause I recently bought the car and was doing Research on it 300Nm it sounds better in Nm:)

volvo 855 r 420 nm @ 3300 rpm 304 bhp @ 5500 figures supplied by rica.
dyno says 400 nm@3400 184 bhp @5400 fairly close

666ft-lb on the old Spec. will be going to Dyno again soon.
