VXR brakes

Hi all i was just wondering if any of you good people on here know any thing about the vxr brakes, my mate has got one and needs to know how the rear piston goes back into the calliper do they just push in or are they the wind in type any help would be very greatfull thanks

has he tried to push them in ? if he has and they havent moved then its probably a wind back but cant tell for sure

Yeah he tried pushing in he used a g clamp to push it in with no joy also tried carefully with a pair of mole grips to turn piston,he told me it turned but dint seem to go in

If it don't push in then it will be a twist in. I had trouble with my Primera brakes due to this and they took forever to wind back in.

you have to push and twist at the same time
i have the tool for it that plugs into the air line at work makes life a lot easyer

most wind clock wise but some dont some go anti clock so need to see that as well

If you aint got the tool can you use 2 people 1 to push and other to wind it back?

tools only about £20 mate. usingthe mole grips could damage the piston itself
