Very general brakes question

Bit of a grey area this one. I think bigger discs with more pad surface would work better than more pistons in your calipers but I don't know for sure.

im with ya on this one fingers, bigger surface area for braking and also i would pressume better cooling propperties from the larger surface area as well

Bigger disks make a massive difference on Braking feel. You can really sense the point of lockup if you have large disks. More caliper pressure will just cause the brakes to lock up when the tyres grip is exceeded wheras bigger disks give a higher friction surface to dissipate motion in the form of heat! Vented and Grooved disks are also a plus.

Discs as big as you can fit - then you can use stock pads that don't need to be cooked to work. Large alloys help too as they're very good heat conductors and move the heat away into the airstream far better than the standard items. Steel rims are a waste of time on performance cars
