About 22 years ago I locked away my MG Metro turbo, in a garage in aberystwyth. the car has been partially striped, and I'v sold the engine and box years ago.
Two weeks ago I found the key, I have no idea what condition it will be in, but i will share it all with you when i open the door, there are also lots of other goodys, (HS Chevete parts, brand new mk2 escort bonet, lightend and ballanced Fiat/lancia twin cam engine plus god knows what else) I wonder how the brand new revolution's and new pirelli P zero's have lasted?

If the metro has survived, it will be coming to Shrewsbury to be built as a hill climbe car with some sort of bike engine.

in 1985 it was featured in CCC magazine, 1380 avonbar, with nitrous and jack knight S/C box and lsd 175whp,
now it will be resurected with a hiabusa turbo engine and will be prepared for sprint/hillclimbe.

I'm surprised it was all still there! You say HS parts? Let me know what you have as I know the guys who would be interested in them parts for their club. I used to be a member of the DSG and once owned an HSX in the late 80's.

1380 nice. I once had a 1340 Longman, 48 Weber with a Quaife lsd and a Jack Knight straight cut box, redundancy put paid to that beauty.
