Restricting the overtaking lanes

Should low power cars be prevented from using the outside lanes (overtaking lanes) on motorways?

Perhaps there should be a power limit or similar restriction on each lane.

I've lost count of the time i've been stuck behind a 1.0 trying to overtake a lorry and taking ages to do it! Or even two lorries trying to slowly overtake each other up a hill.

It sounds like a good idea. But i cant see people sticking to it. My car is only 136bhp but can easily keep up with traffic and overtake. Lorries have alot more power than my car but...

I've seen that a few times Waynne. A huge lorry over taking a smaller lorry... So dangerous....

I can't see it working though. They're are speed limits, but not every one sticks to them.

Unenforceable. That's why it hasn't been done.
