Realistic car movie chases

Which movie car chase scenes do you think are the most realistic?

IMO there are very few, too many go for special effects. Bullit and the mini chase in the Bourne film were pretty realistic. I struggle to think of any others though that qualify as realistic.

What are your thoughs? Can you think of realistic car chase scenes in movies?

cant remember if it was realistic but the best ever car chase in any film was bullitt (IMJO of course)

In a round about way with how congested roads are nowadays the Italian job could be realistic. I mean if you did a robbery and wanted to get away and planned it correctly driving through shopping centres and sewers is possibly the only way to do it! OK I admit there would be fatalities/casualties but it's quite achievable if you were mad enough
