Positive licence endorsements

Do you think the Police should start pulling over drivers, commending them for their driving and putting credits or plus points on their licence?

Would this improve driving standards even further?

What about if insurers reduced premiums for people who have these plus points or credits?

its a good idea but it would mean that the police are stopping people and not actually making any money.
stopping those who are driving badly would be a better start

Not very often you see the police at all these days. They're overworked and underfunded already so let's not apply any more pressure.

It would be nice to see a bit more attention paid to driving standards rather than treating speeding as the one and only offence.

It could possibly work, if the reg was taken and a standard 'well done' letter sent to the registered owner. This would do away with stopping the driver and could be handed over to admin to process.

What police ? They only turn up if someone dares to not conform to the government imposed P.C. culture, wear an England shirt or fly the Cross of St George near certain Towns and Cities. Other then that they can be found at the scene of an accident, sometimes where a robbery has been committed, occasionally at a Court but mostly at a football match on Saturdays. From what i have seen, they have the remaining six days off on paid leave, unless there is a mid week match of course but that's evenings and they'll be on overtime then anyway. Oh, and they can be found around Downing Street, protecting the most hated people in the Country.
