Hi and welcome

College Station, Texas?

As soon as the show season starts get along to as many Jap meets as you can to see what is being done.

Talk to as many Honda tuners/owners as possible.

I love Amazon. There are thousands of car books on there, many for not a lot of money. Read as much as possible, both specific to your car and generic stuff about suspension/handling, tyres, paint, body mods, etc, etc.

Search the internet for articles on tuning your car.

Become an infosponge :) (have I just made up a new word?)

I think i finally found out my car has a and correct me if this has nothing to with the engine an F22A1 engine its the only thing I found on it and if im correct its a weak engine. If that were the case I was wondering what would be a good engine to swap it out with that I wont have to many complications to do it I don't mind putting time and effort but I dont want something I wont be able to use or have a hard time finding someone who will know how to swap it out

No, the nearest I have been is Phoenix.

Use with my blessing, usage royalties are very reasonable :)

Hey guys I just wanted to know what would be the best engine for my prelude 1994 I found out that the engine I have now is the F22A1 I believe and I also know that its the weakest of the engines for my car So I was thinking of swapping it out for a Vtec engine which would be the best for my car and also I heard that best place to get a used one would be JDM because they are supposed to have less that 50,000 miles is this info true Im truly passionate about getting my car tuned to the max and I really need advice and Im looking to learn I really want my prelude to be like no other it will take time but Im looking forward to it let me know if you can help thanks guys any advice is welcome and truly appreciated

I always start with the suspension, brakes, steering, wheels and tyres. Getting that all correct is probably the best and most importantly safest way to go. Having a car that stops and steers brilliantly is sometimes more of a buzz than a straight line screamer. Once you can maintain high corner speeds and brake later, then you can use the power you have to the fullest. There is so much information about engine swaps and turbos out there but very little is spoken about unsprung weight, roll centre, centre of effort and centre of gravity amongst other things. These are the things that consume most of the time of professional racing teams. There are books out there that explain all these things quite simply and I assure you that if you get them right you'll have more fun.
