Im glad to have found torquecars.com , I've a is200 y plate had it 1year n now I'm learning just how liked these models are , I look at all posible mods upgrades want alsorts but money Limits me. I'm looking forward to connecting with like minded people , was gonna start with cat back exhaust then induction , I want new everything lol karma to all.

Hi Allanis and welcome
The IS200 is reputed to be a great handling car but a little underpowered and if I had one I would fit a good set of headers and a free flowing exhaust and a supercharger.
IF you wanted to go further then a turbo 2JZ is the ultimate.
NOTE the non turbo 2JZ was factory fitted in the IS300.

I'd stick with suspension and handling mods first, then add some power mods when you get the brakes and handling right. Supercharger kits and fast road cams work well on these.

Hi all,
Apologies for reviving an old post. I've recently purchased an IS200 myself (as of Oct '16).
@Allanis200: how did you get on upgrading you IS200? - Any tips, or places to shop you wanna share?
Finding a one-stop shop in the UK for IS200 parts is becoming a challenge (lots out of stock).
Also anyone recommend a reputable place to carry out upgrades on the IS's near London?
