I have a ford ka and want to fit bigger fuel injectors on it.... im quite new to this so hit me back if you have any advice
iam with hdi
best save the money for a faster car
you would not want a quick ka slow they are dodgy lol
best of selling quick before it goes rusty very rare i see a ka with no rust now
Maybe they cocked them up to make the Brembos on the Focus RS and the Alcons on the FRP look even better lol.
I doubt even Ford was being that cynical. The XK8 was about £60k-£70k worth of machinery at launch and the brakes were not in keeping with the rest of it. To my mind they'd have been adequate (and no more than so) on a modest 2.0 Mondeo.
I'd keep the Ka and looka fter it properly, sell it on in good nick and get a fair price (lots of people love small cars for the perceived low running costs) and then buy something a bit more lively as a starting point if you want to tune it.
You never know, you might very well get something you're happy with in stock tune anyway.
Insuring a performance car in standard tune is much much much cheaper then insuring a middle ground car which has been modified to the point that it's unrecognisable.
Ford did a racing upgrade package which included a fast road cam. The fast road cam will really tranform the car. It's so light that even a small power hike is noticable. So if you were going to spend money on it i'd do the cam.
Actually, it's rear to see a KA! where are they all? once upon a time, every other lady was behind the wheel of one of those little Ford delights :amuse:
