Hello to all was surfing a bit to see where was best to seek out advice on how to tune my hyundai lantra and torquecars was what caught my attention. Car i know is different from normal for racing but ive gotten very good results with her. I race against mazda 323f''s, nissan almera's, toyota corolla's, ford escort basically any car one desires to build up to 1.6cc non turbo or 4wd allowed .This year was first year hyundai was used at track ever. I have won many races but im looking to improve for next year with some more knowledge as im by no means a mechanic. I look forward to having a good read through the forum and getting a few topics going about handling and performance issues. Track is oval track racing.

Thanks for the welcomes i am curious with few basic removals i can do in engine bay. Ive already removed the system that heats the air as it comes through the throttle body and the carbon canister, id like to remove more if possible ever unnecessary part i can anything simple for more power or less restriction on engine.

Welcome. Good form of racing, spent many years on the ovals when younger (can't believe I just wrote that) built and raced many cars. A great place to start and learn. Enjoy.
