I want to spray my alloys a different colour!!!!???

Just bought some paint, is it just as simple as priming then painting and maybe a bit of rubing down? cheersss

Pretty much. Rub them down, fill any deep curbing or marks, prime, rub that down, repeat as much as necessary, paint, and use 2k laquer though.

oh i bought black spray paint from halfords said you could paint alloys on the side its halfords own brand, that any good mate?

Halfords paint is fine as far as rattle can paint goes yeah mate I've used it plenty of times on all sorts of things. Halfords lacquer is crap and soft though, get some 2k stuff off ebay. It's harder so will protect the paint better and will respond better to a machine polishing afterwards to bring up that extra gloss.
