Huge crash at Bathurst

It appears that a bit of sun glare and getting app 6 inches off line contributes to last years winner Ford Supercar driver Chaz Mostcert clipping the wall at 170 kph and the car being destroyed as it was slammed from side to side. Chaz has fractured leg and wrist and will be out for the rest of the season which is a shame as he was running 2nd in the championship.

A couple of flag marshals were injured as well as the car rode the wall and they jumped for safety.

It happened only minutes into a practice session which had to be abandoned for the day.
