TR4A IRS
Just joined the site and wanted to say hello . I have a TRIUMPH TR4A IRS 1967 which I am about to restore and any useful tips on where to start would be useful. The engine is turning over by hand and there is superficial rust in spots around the primed wings , should i treat these with a rust curer and then spray a temporary coat of primer ?. I have drained the coolant and will replace today. Thanks, Mike , Northants:D

Hello and welcome, take your time ridding the car of rust thorougly. Sand it right back to bare metal, use a rust inhibitor and then build up the surface again with high build primer. Sand it off then spray the car in the colour you wanted.
