LHD - Special Order Blu Corsa - The latest chapter in Ferrari's ongoing history of open top V8s heralds a new generation of 8-cylinder supercars that are fitted with turbochargers. Following the success of the 488 GTB, a car equipped with a number of improvements on its predecessor the 458, including a smaller displacement engine of 3.9 litres furnished with twin turbos and mounted lower down in the car. The new engine boasts an impressive and eye watering by only yesterday's standards 661 bhp accelerating the car from 0-60mph in just 3 seconds, and ultimately reaching a top speed of 203 mph. The 488 also has a new generation of the Slide Slip Control, which will carefully firm up or soften the dampers. The brakes are derived from the LaFerrari and there is a dual-clutch 7-speed transmission regarded as one of the finest gearboxes on any car to date. This LHD 488 Spider was first delivered on the 15th of March, 2016, to Luxembourg. It is presented in the special order colour of Blu Corsa over Nero "Goldrake" carbon racing seats with stitched Cavallinos in each headrest. The interior is equipped with a carbon fibre driver's zone with LED shift light, Nero carpets and upper leather section, coloured mats with logo, Ferrari telemetry, front and rear parking cameras and sensors, Aluminium gauges, Premium HiFi and front suspension lift. To the exterior the car benefits from Aluminium brake calipers, Scuderia wing shields, carbon under door panels, and 20" Forged alloys painted in Argento. Today this exceptional 488 has covered just 6,200 miles from new, was most recently serviced in March, 2017 and is available to view immediately at our showrooms just outside London.
