Faster Type-R?

Can you point me in the right direction on where I can get my Civic Type-R supercharged?

I have vigorously searched the internet but not getting any results. All I get is an American website selling this thing called Turbonator? and I also get alot of sites which sell ECU modules that claim you can gain an extra 20BHP for the cost £ of £4.99. Sounds too good to be true. Should I be aware of these mods?

You should beWARY of these mods :shock: if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. Importing is probably the best option.

A tech note:- You will need to be a little careful as the engine runs at a compression ratio of 11:1 so supercharging will require a very high octane fuel or you will risk detonation. Hay vortech makes a supercharger kit that increases 73% power but I would only add a modest boost of 2-3PSI on standard engine internals. A supercharger will set you back around £3000 plus import tax - there are some specialists around that may be able to source and import & install a full kit for you.
