Has anyone got new number plates for their cars? Do you like the look of the Euro plates with the integrated GB sticker? Are these legal?

If you plates were worn or slighly cracked would you worry about getting new ones?

They are legal. You can also choose a Union Jack, George Cross Scottish Cross or Welsh Dragon, all perfectly admissible for road use.

I've had these since 2003 when I replaced my plates because they were cracked.

you have to have the euro flag on them. other than that you can have whatever flag you want as long as t fits in the small area

unless its changed since i got my last ones as i just wanted the saltire on it and was told by 3 places that i had to have the euro one on as well

I think you're right about having the EU symbol as well. What also is required is that the lettering spacing is conventional. On new style (ie. 51 onwards) the typeface cannot be altered.

The plates also have to show the Name and postcode of the supplier of the plate.

All this constitutes compliance with BS-AU145 and BS-Au145 also has to be shown on the plate.
