Driving for pleasure

We talk often about business miles but I wonder just how much we think about the Pleasure miles we drive.

If a pleasure mile is the distance driven purely for the thrill and enjoyment of driving how many pleasure miles do you cover per year?

Has this changed in the last few years?

with the cost of fuel and the do gooders about the fun factor is lees now than say 2 years ago i still love to drive

I do my pleasure miles at the weekend. I often don't have a plan or destination in mind but just go out for a drive. It's better in the evenings and early mornings when the roads are clear.

but not so much at the weekends, just on my days off work....

Actually now that I think about, I don't really get the opportunity to drive for real pleasure. Much of my driving seems to be work orientated I'm afraid :sad2:

Dont often go out driving for the sake of it usually we are going somewhere cost of fuel put a stop to just nipping out for a drive! i am not complaining cos i choose to own the type of car i have!!.
