hey guys..so i got a 1990 1.3 carb civic.....want to tune it...what do u guys recommend?

as its an old engine (runs on carb) have you looked at fitting bigger carbs ?

yea....but i don't know what to look on carbs so they can fit...without 'choking' the engine

try an see if fingers wil pick up on this thread as hes running a 5.2 v8 hemi which i think runs on carbs being a mechanic itll help as well

i know i was told i could be looking at 200bhp from my 1990 prelude. 2 ltr twin carb

what u mean? do you know what figures i have to look at when looking for carbs?
what you think of bike carbs?

i aint got much idea with carbs. i found info on a site when which gave me the idea of 2 twin weber 45s with custom intake manifold with a couple of other mods

think its more diameter and needle size

btw what other mods could i do? z6 head? camshaft?

cant remember mate it was a couple of years ago i had the car but the engine stated to give more problems than it was worth. it had 103k on the clock and i dont think it had been serviced in its life until i got hold of it

unsure of what else you could do to it ive never seen the 1.3 engine before only heard about it

so anyone that has any recommendations for this? camshaft? which bigger carbs?
