celica gt4

hi there im fairley new on this site but im nutts about cars n jap cars i was considering a celica gt4 import wich im told are 255bhp any experiences with these cars to share ? and i keep seeing in advert for these cars where people say the wishbone or lower arms etc need replacing is there some kind of issue with these ? or any issues at all or things to look for ? cheers any input will be appreciated

They are fantastic cars. BUT. If you want to tune up a Toyota it can be hard sourcing parts for them. If you plan to keep the car standard then go for it but if you plan to modify it then spend a little time seeing if there are parts for what you want to do to it.

The main thing is that it is so hard to remap the ECU (unless Toyota or Import versions have changed recently)

right well i think il be lookin for a jap model so i wouldnt need to improve it but just curious for commen fault or things to check etc cheers
