hi there. I gone and bought a tired 205 TD, which is only good for the scrapper really, but I've always fancied building a quick one. anyone out there got any thoughts? I'd like to keep the original engine, and keep the looks totally stock, apart from perhaps a slight suspension drop. Any thoughts on the best brakes/suspension combination, and how to get good usable power from the engine without having to sell my house?

GTi brakes and suspension are good cheap upgrade options for the 205 usually, but you'll need something else for the front suspension as the diesel engines are quite heavy, perhaps a set of coilovers?
