how much money you got ? suercharger for decent power gain.

CAI, full exhuast including sport/de cats and manifold, fast road cam and chipped ( think it might be too old to be remapped )
 
Sounds like a good buy! PG has covered all the basics there. A lighter flywheel, close ratio gearbox and removal of the speed limiter would be good mods.
 
i use bavauto for my bimmer, and my buddy has a 1991 e34 520i, and the parts for the 525 work on his car, and they have performance intake and exhaust cams there. i would think they would work nicely
