A good place to see old fast Fords?

I was flicking through YouTube earlier on a nostalgic search for the RS500, when I came across an XR4i. This brought back memories of the fast Ford's I used to know and love. The RS2000, XR2, XR3 & it's turbocharged variant, XR4, RS Cosworths and alike, were always heavily featured in the car magazines that I used to read as a young man.

I have seen the odd one or two examples at a car show but I was wondering if there is a fast Ford car meet on somewhere that I could see all of them together.

Do Ford have a museum in the UK? I went to Trollhattan in Sweden a few months ago to the SAAB Museum - absolutely fascinating!

Does anybody own an old school fast Ford on here that could post up some pictures or know of a meeting to be held somewhere that they would like to share?

Not only are there stands for virtually every model, there is 1/4 mile track action so you can also see them in action.

2 years ago, when I went, they had a had a mini grass rally stage that you could drive around in a Mk2 Escort.

Ford have a heritage museum at Dagenham, not that far from you. The link below is 3 years old but it gives you a start

Also Ford Fair is stacked to the brim with all models, a lot of which hit the track and are always fun to watch. That'll be the 2nd weekend of August next year though

Bit late in the year to see cars at club nights but there will be a meet near you every month im sure. Both the RSOC & Passion Ford Forum hold regular meetings. Im in the Surrey/Middlesex RSOC club which meets in Staines. Also a regular meet at the Ace Cafe with lots of cars on show.
Not many of these old cars venture out in the Winter.
