4 pot ali engine weight?

I am trying to buy a spare engine to mod but can't get the seller to put it on a pallet for some reason so i can have it shipped to me..

Seems i may have to drive half way across the country and try and chuck it in the back on a car.. Its a saab b207 unit without the gearbox and turbo etc. A 4 pot ali block, whats a rough weight for an engine this size and do you think that two fellas would be able to life it into the back of a car?

Yeah should be manageable. Without all ancilliaries it should be well under 400lbs.

Drop the oil out whilst your moving it. That will lift a fair bit of weight off it.
