25% reduction in traffic police

The UK has seen a massive drop in the number of traffic police.

People seem to feel more able to get away with offences like texting, undertaking and middle lane hogging.

Do you think this is true? (Less police = more offences)

What aspects of traffic policing do you think the police should focus on?

Are cameras taking over the job of a policeman and is this a positive thing?

Cannot say I have noticed this at all, but I assume with all the speed/AvgSpeed cameras they are installing the authorities feel they can make cutbacks on manpower.

Traffic officers do have other duties besides speed limit enforcement. It's not a witch hunt.
