hi there, havent been on in ages.thanks to hdi who helped me with my problem with the peugot 406 he was spot on. ive now also got a rover 75 51 plate diesel estate (only got it on sat) and i have been round all the local scrappies looking for a handbook with no luck.Is there anyone out there...

thanks for your advice was the timing belt knocked out by the broken belt.

hi jarrus you are no.1 took car to garage today and it turns out part of the belt that broke had went in beside the timing belt and knocked it out.so they have cleaned the bits of belt out and reset the timing belt. thanks for your advice :lol:

it was the auxillary belt.havent had any problems before.thanks :confused:

can anyone please give me some advice my peugot was going fine then the drive belt broke, i drove it to the garage without the drive belt and had a new tensioner and guide fitted.since then it is running really rough and smoke is billowing out of the exhaust.i am scared to use it until i can get...

hi there having a problem with peugot 406 diesel car is running very rough and a lot of smoke from exhaust.this is only since drive belt broke and i had tensioner and guide replaced.anyone have any advice for me please.

car has been going absolutely fine then drive belt broke.had 2 tensioners and guide replaced now the car is sounding very rough and there is smoke pouring out from the exhaust.does any one have any ideas.p.s. ran the car without the belt to the garage.
