Was just thinking last night that I have a 1242cc car with 75 Bhp as standard, however a Yamaha R1 (998cc) has a BHP of over 170+? Is this just down to BHP per Tonne or would it be possible to convert such an engine to work in a car? Sequential gearbox would be cool too. Any ideas?

I have a mk5 1.25 zetec fiesta, and am trying to identify a random 'flapping' noise at high speed (generally over 60mph or if its windy a bit less) coming from the near-side-front bulkhead. Had a nosey and found a random airfilter that seems to filter the air going through the vent at the top...

Hello, Looking at doing an engine swap in the near future on a mk5 fiesta, currently a 1.25 zetec. Now I know a lot of people opt for the 1.7 puma engine, however I was wondering if a 1.6 Zetec S engine would go in with less hassle? Only thought this as surely I am not going to need wiring...
