turboing 5L-E motor

hey i need a little advice, i hav hilux it has the 3litre 5L-E motor non turbo and done a few 4wd w/e now and can tell its lacking a bit compared to the excat same but turbo model, am curious about adding an aftermarket turbo to it but just wondering if i need to worry about internals aswell? it has done 160000 and serviced every 10000ks, if i didnt do any internal work on the motor how will the life of it be reduced? i would only be running like 8psi just enough to give it that little bit more or is it not worth it? cheers hope it all makes sense

Turbo'ing a naturally aspired engine will probably cost ££££'s.

Yeah i can it fitted and dynoed for about 3500dollars, but im unsure if i need to do internal work or not like if i get a turbo fitted without internal work will it blow up in a years time?
