Well this winter has taken its toll on my Corrado :( first top mounts went, then ARB link broke now I've got little patches of rust apearing around the arch.

So whats the best way of removing it then making the paint after blend in.

Sanding it right down to bare metal, treat with anti rust stuff, base coat, paint, laquer, then loads of polish?

Any one got any better tips?

To get the colour to match would need the whole side blowing in together. You can take a paint sample to a paint supplier who will match the paint for you.

I know some where, where I can get the right paint to match.

I just want the bits I've done to blend in.

So no matter how much polishing I do it wont blend in then? :(

There is only one way to remove rust, cut it out. Forget wasting money on treating and painting, it will bubble again.

Try brushing all rust affected areas with phosphoric acid, this will stop furthur rusting. You can then do furthur work on the car at your liesure
