It's arithmetically correct as well. But don't go falling into the usual trap of seeing the 5252 as being significant in terms of RPM. It's purely a ratio (or a co-efficient if you prefer that term) and as such it has NO UNITS.
If we measure power in kW and revs in radians/second then the number 5252 would not feature.

nope thats the thing it only works for ftlb and hp as soon as you start deviating from this it goes to pot

To stray from ftlb and from bhp is not to deviate as such. It's simply a choice of units of measure for scalar quantities.
